These Emblems are the PRIMARY visual representation of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. The distinguishing difference between this Emblem and the U.S. Coast Guard Emblem is the SOLID anchors. Use the Standard, Alternate and Stylized Emblems on white or other lightly colored backgrounds. On dark backgrounds, use the Reversed Emblems. Alongside the U.S. Coast Guard Emblem use the Standard Emblem on white or lightly colored backgrounds and the Alternate Reversed on dark backgrounds. NEVER use the Alternate Emblem in any situation where it may be confused as the U.S. Coast Guard Emblem.
